Ripple announces new partnership with MSF Africa.

Ripple, a technology company based in the United States, said that its crypto solution known as “money on demand” is to help MSF Africa “increase mobile payments for customers in 35 countries.” The evolution of Ripple’s relationship with MSF Africa, which has 800 payment methods across the continent, will show that the entire region has the possibility of obtaining “benefits including money”.

As part of the agreement, MSF Africa, the continent’s leading fintech group, will use Ripple’s crypto solution known as On-Demand Liquidity (ODL). Commenting on MSF Africa’s decision to partner with Rip ple, the president of the mobile money company, Dare Okoudjou, said:

“MFS Africa’s mission is to make borders matter less when it comes to payment within, to, and from Africa. We’re delighted to advance this mission through our partnership with Ripple to enable fast, secure and low-cost remittances, at scale.”

The president added that his company’s partnership with Ripple represents its first attempt to use blockchain technology “to increase our [MSF Africa] impact on consumers and businesses and the continent’s growth and new economies.” .”

Meanwhile, in a November 14 blog post, the Ripple group, who described the relationship as “a win for investment in Africa”, emphasized that ODL is useful for “markets that are struggling to find financing.

The group added that the flexible arrangement between Ripple and MSF Africa, which has 800 payment methods across the continent, will see “the entire region stand to benefit including money.”
